DeHaat Captain is the individual who assists the farmers in their village. DeHaat Captains earn this title because they help farmers overcome the challenges when farmers do not receive advice from crop specialists, when farmers are using more pesticides which is increasing costs and decreasing soil quality, when farmers are unaware of new farming technologies, such as drones and soil testing machines, which provide results in 10 minutes.
Their earnings are based on incentives: the more farmer registrations and product orders they accumulate, the higher their commissions.
Observed a remarkable surge in the registration of village representatives and farmers, marking a pinnacle of participation facilitated by a multitude of incentive programs and enticing offers disseminated through various digital platforms such as WhatsApp, Facebook, and Farmer's App.
